Yeah, well, maybe it is not the site's fault. Maybe it simply happens to
be the fact that the Internet is disintegrating due to overloaded trunk
lines, making it impossible to make some long distance connections through
some providers' zones of control.
Maybe the FTP server has a connect limit of some given number and that
limit has been reached so your connection is refused. FTP is a *very* CPU
and network intensive protocol for the server. Most public FTP servers
these days implement such limits to keep their servers and local networks
from being throttled by the load.
Maybe you should try again several hours later before complaining about the
Kermit Project being immature.
